The deadline for the design concept is quick approaching and I hope I am near the end. I have worked up some of the secondary pages, but I thought I would put this last (?) home page design up before the links to my final mock-ups for possible commenting.

It looks like you have combined elements of the pages you showed us last week. I like this combination, and while it might not have been according to design rules, I liked the use of 2 different fonts for Shifting-Perception. But that’s just me. This design is surely cleaner. I like the navigation in the lavender box on the left, but I am wondering if it could be a bit longer. It is just a little bit bigger than the row of images, but something about the size disturbs me. I understand why it isn’t the same size, but it needs to have a better proportion in length to the row, maybe something mathematical or adding some fraction to the top and bottom.

I agree with Susan about the side navigation box, but overall I think this looks great. It’s a bit simpler than some of the original designs, but I think it will be very user-friendly. Good job!
